Surely many of us (myself certainly) would have lined up had we known in advance that practically the entire cast would be crashing the Comic Con party. Mr. Raimi and cast appeared very relaxed and at ease with each other during the Comic Con. That collaborative spirit gives me a giddy feeling. Makes me think that the reason they're all so comfortable is because they know something the rest of us can only speculate about - that this will be some kind of special film, a wonderful adventure that will take us on the ride of our lives, and leave us with something more than a smile on our faces to take away from the experience. Can't wait! Thank you guys for coming out to brave the crazed masses. Hope you felt the love out there in San Diego. Thanks for giving some of it back to us by making great films.

Yeah, I agree with everyone else, I want to see some shots of Venom! I also want to see an off shot from Spiderman and see Venom NOT (repeat here, NOT!!!!) get killed like every other Spiderman 'bad guy'. He could have his own movies and be the true anti-hero which is why we love him and his attitude so much!! Let me print this big here so we all see and read it... IF VENOM SURVIVES AND WE GET A INDEPENDANT VENOM MOVIE IT WOULD BE ABLE TO TAKE THE PG17 OR R RATING THAT IT NEEDS TO MAKE A CARNAGE MOVIE WITH BLOOD AND GUTS LIKE WE ALL ARE DYING TO SEE THE CGI FOR!!! Anyway, I hope the Gods out there in Sony land read these things and know that we would all pay top dollar to get a non-kiddie version of Venom on his own terms and up for a true battle royal. Great clips. This movie is gonna be the best ever. Venom was my favorite village of Spiderman's. To see him come to the big screen is a fans dream come true. It would have been nice to see Carnage, but I like the set up of villans they have for this. It gives a little varity which is nice. I am looking forward to seeing spidey in action against multiple foes. LOVE IT!!!!! Can't wait for Spiderman 3. I'll be there opening night!

I mean, I know Harry Osborn isn't a new character, but Sandman and Venom need a lot of time to be developed in the movie. I think Venom is the biggest part of the movie, so give him the time needed. The question: Is this movie gonna last 2 or 3 hours (or more??I wish)? Superman didn't need to last 3 hours or whatever, but Spider-man doess!!!!!Let us know this information please. well, I'm graphic designer but illustrator at the same time, I'm specialized in Manga the japanese cartoon design style, but I like Marvel style... and I used to draw all my favorite cartoon heros, like spiderman. Spiderman is a studied character designed to be extra-man but so real to be human, like the X-Men... I guess that Spiderman 3 will be really strong as cine-product, with a such amazing special effects, I still afraid about the scenario, but we have to wait and see... Anyway it's hard to pass time, 2007 seems to be at a hundred years from now...

I wasn't sure how well Topher Grace was gonna do as Eddie Brock at first because how he was in That '70s Show But wow after seeing him in the transforming picture and in the trailer I think you did a great job in choosing him

i hope sam raimi gets to read this. i seem to recall some extended and deleted scenes from the first movie that never made it to dvd. i for one am a die hard fan of both sam raimi and spiderman. i was a bit disappointed when i didnt see those missing scenes. my question is why they made it to dvd?

I (mostly) agree with Chris from Aug 1st. DO NOT KILL OFF THE VENOM SYMBIOTE. It should find it's way onto Brock, and spawn a new series of movies.

A Venom movie or two could lead to a box-office windfall: Spiderman vs. Venom. Jason vs. Freddie and Alien vs. Predator were both relatively successful, weren't they? Just imagine Spidey vs. Venom.

Although, unlike Chris, I don't care if there are blood and guts in these movies, I do care that we don't water them down for "family-friendly" viewing. These comics have been read by children for ages. Let them stand, as-is.

This is going to be one of the greatest movies in history!!!

I can't wiat 4 this movie 2 come out! I'm so excited! It's looks a lot darker then the last 2 Spider-Man movies, and he has this awesome black suit! I hope this story is as great as the last 2 or even better. I can't believe there are 3 vilians! This will be one of the best movies I have ever seen, let alone the movie I've most anticipated in my whole life! I'm glad you guys decided to choose to put Venom in Spider-Men 3, even though Sam Raimi disliked his lack of humanity, it's a great choice. He has been the best Spider-Man villian 4 a long time now! and the VFX for Sandman should be awesome! I also saw that Spider-Man has a new symbol on his uniform, it's lookin pretty sweet. I've already seen sooo many rumors and blogs about characters and the story and this movie doesn't come out till May 4th next year! I'm glad you haven't let out too many spoilers of it yet, it will make the fans more anxious! and me too! So when the movie finally comes out you might just shatter box-office records! I'll probably see this movie 3 times and then bye it and watch it some more! I'll keep track of what's happening, sorry for this being so long.

I think the venom hype is overshadowing the Gwen Stacy-ness of everything. Dont get me wrong I love Venom, but Gwen Stacy may foreshadow much more than Venom does.
