The City of New York and Columbia Pictures announced today that the week of April 30 through May 6 will be "Spider-Man Week In NYC." A variety of festivities are planned for all five boroughs, involving New York City landmarks such as the Central Park and Bronx Zoos, the American Museum of Natural History and the Apollo Theater. A highlight of the week will be the Tribeca Film Festival's premiere of Spider- Man 3 in Queens, Peter Parker's hometown, with additional screenings in all boroughs. Admit it – we all love the toys and action figures. They adorn the shelves of our bedrooms, dorm rooms and offices. So, we are proud to introduce the new line of Spider-Man 3 toys. Check out all the new Spider-Man goods at retailers nationwide and don’t worry, we won’t tell anyone that you got the wrist-mounted web shooters (we think they’re cool too).
The new full length Spider-Man 3 trailer is now available exclusively at www.SpiderMan3onComcast.com. In the coming weeks, Comcast will be the only place to find exclusive webisodes on EJ Krisor, the illustrator who helped create the look for Sandman, Grant Curtis talking about the Goblin's lair, and the stunts of Spider-Man 3 - your Spidey senses will definitely be tingling.
On the music front, click below to listen to "Signal Fire" by Snow Patrol from the upcoming Spider-Man 3 Soundtrack. The soundtrack, available May 1 on Record Collection, features original music from Snow Patrol, The Killers, Wolfmother, The Flaming Lips and more. Get more info here.

I just wanted to give you a quick update as we are in the home stretch of post production. Sam is currently timing the picture, putting the finishing touches on the edit with editor Bob Murawski, looping the actors, giving notes on the visual effects, and working on the final mix in addition to numerous other tasks that come our way throughout the day. We're working at a hectic pace, but the movie is really coming together and looks amazing.
Also, just a quick heads-up regarding my book. Wednesday, March 21st, all the registered members of the Spider-Man Movie Network will receive a sneak-peek at the book which will include:
The first 3 pages of the CRAFTING THE STORY chapter, which discusses our
script-writing process.
Never-before-seen conceptual art from the art department.
Conceptual art vs. final set comparisons.
Never-before-seen set photography.
Never-before-seen conceptual art from the costume department.
Excerpt from the visual effects chapter.
CGI vs. real life character comparisons.
Excerpts from my daily journal.
Never-before-seen photography that I took during pre-production.
