 Grant Curtis book updateMarch 16, 2007
 Dear friends,
Hope you are well.
I just wanted to give you a quick update as we are in the home stretch of post production. Sam is currently timing the picture, putting the finishing touches on the edit with editor Bob Murawski, looping the actors, giving notes on the visual effects, and working on the final mix in addition to numerous other tasks that come our way throughout the day. We're working at a hectic pace, but the movie is really coming together and looks amazing.
Also, just a quick heads-up regarding my book. Wednesday, March 21st, all the registered members of the Spider-Man Movie Network will receive a sneak-peek at the book which will include:
- The first 3 pages of the CRAFTING THE STORY chapter, which discusses our
script-writing process.
- Never-before-seen conceptual art from the art department.
- Conceptual art vs. final set comparisons.
- Never-before-seen set photography.
- Never-before-seen conceptual art from the costume department.
- Excerpt from the visual effects chapter.
- CGI vs. real life character comparisons.
- Excerpts from my daily journal.
- Never-before-seen photography that I took during pre-production.

hope the book comes out sooner than lateer and that the movie is longer than the first two by a good amount so all the different stories aren't cramed in to quickly

Good thing I'm already a member. Thanks for the update. I will most likely buy the book once i see the movie. And i just want to say that I like the way you and Sam Raimi make these movies.

I never liked green goblin, but now I simply adore especially HARRY, I would like to find out from you more more about job of the glider, me much not clearly. This is GREAT! I am glad I joined that thing last year! Now I will get to see really awesome sneak peeks at Spider-Man 3!! I am so excited about this movie. I can't wait until it is out. I go to this thing everyday now to see if there is new news about it or not. I am hoping to see the new trailer that is being shown in front of 300. I hope it is awesome. Keep up the great work guys. Hey Grant,
Thanks for keeping your promise about updating for your new book!! I just became a member yesterday. I also like what Chris Young did with Goblin's theme, that I hered in the sceen that were shone on NBC. Hope everything is going well for you and the movie, can't wait until May 4th!! Oh, before I almost forget are you putting up a v-blog for the music of movie?

Dear Mr. Grant Curtis
I am concerned with the film score of Spider-man 3. You said Danny Elfman was working with Christopher Young on the picture. But it appears that Christopher Young is taking credit for the film score and does not mention Danny Elfman whatsoever. I am begining to suspect that Elfman working with Young was a lark and you got Elfman fans pumped up for nothing. What is going on? Is Danny Elfman involved or not involved with Spider-man 3?

I look eagerly forward to consuming your book, especially your daily journal, the script writing process and your personal photo album. Thanks for taking the time to capture for posterity all the minute details that go into making a film that appears destined for greatness.
Tell me, who's a better photographer -- you or Peter Parker? ;) Can't wait to find out. Hope you got lots of good shots of Mr. Parker's alter ego in action. Can't wait to see those.

Thank you so much Grant curtis i can't wait to see venom live in action. And i jsut wanted to say i think Topher grace was the perfect pick to play Eddie Brokc/Venom. Way to go Sam Raimi keep up the exellent work and thank you so much for introducing venom into the spiderman 3 movie spiderman movies rule wooohooo.

Hey, Grant! I know this is unrelated to the book, but will there be a soundtrack release to this? What artists has Sam Raimi lined up for this soundtrack? And I've heard some rumors that Kirsten Dunst will sing in this film. Is this true? Thanks. Good luck with the book!

Grant-We've truly enjoyed the other movies and the whole family is awaiting the debut of the third!
I have to say-I have three daughters (ages 12,7, 4) and I think they are as crazy about the trilogy as any little boy! It looks absolutely fabulous and we are all very excited to see what happen next and if there will may be a Spiderman 4?

I just wanna say that y liked so much the movie,especially by sandman,the cool action scenes,the good developed characters
I think that all you did a great job..congratulations!!
Now i just had only one question to ask
Do you know when will be released the movie score with the music with Chris Young and Danny Elfman becauase i liked so much the music especially "The Black Suit Spidey Theme" .
I have looked in many pages and i can,t find nothing related with the score
